AAT exams are computer-based and use three main question styles:
Objective Tests: Short tasks like multiple-choice, "drag and drop" categorising, or "hot spots" where you click an error on an invoice.
Practical Simulations: Data entry tasks where you calculate figures and complete ledgers, journals, or financial statements.
Written Tasks: (Mainly Level 3 & 4) Short-answer questions where you type a brief report, email, or explanation of an ethical scenario.
