Generally, there are no restrictions on the number of times you can attempt an AAT exam.
The exception is for apprentices who are 16-19 years old, study full time and are taking either the Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, or Level 3 Diploma in Accounting. These individuals are subject to the AAT's resit rule, where they can only attempt each assessment twice within 24 months.
