There are two ways in which your employer can use government funding for an apprenticeship:
- If your employer is a Levy payer, they can use their Levy to fund this apprenticeship.
- If your employer is not a Levy payer, then the government will fund 90% of the training costs for this apprenticeship meaning they will have to pay 5%.
In either case, your employer must pay any exam and registration fees as these can’t be funded by the government for the apprenticeship.
