How many exams are there in the ACCA Qualification?

Modified on Thu, 27 Aug at 10:58 AM

There are 15 exams that form part of the ACCA current qualification.

You have to pass 13 exams: all 3 exams at the Applied Knowledge level, all 6 exams at the Applied Skills level, 2 essential subjects at the Strategic Professional level, and then choose 2 out of 4 option subjects.

If you are awarded exemptions by ACCA based on previous qualifications/degrees that you hold, you may not need to sit all those exams.

The ACCA are launching a new syllabus which is examined from 2027 - read our transitional guidance.
