Many qualifications are split into levels. The difficulty of the levels will increase as you progress through the qualification.
Examples levels
ACCA: Applied Knowledge, Applied Skills and Strategic Professional.
CIMA's CGMA: Operational, Management and Strategic.
ICAEW / ACA: Certificate, Professional, Advanced
