What happens during an ACCA on-demand computer based exam (CBE)?

Modified on Mon, 8 Jun at 3:33 PM

If you've booked your ACCA on-demand computer based exam (CBE) for Foundations (FA1, FA2, MA1, MA2), ACCA Applied Knowledge (BT, FA, MA) or Law (LW) at Kaplan read our guidance on what to bring and expect on the day.

Make sure you've attempted your Kaplan mock exam and ACCA practice exam beforehand, so you're familiar with the type of questions and how to answer them on screen. On your exam day, listen to the invigilator and read the on-screen instructions carefully before you begin the exam.

The on-screen timer will show you how long you have left. You do not need to answer the questions in order so you can return to a question later. Don’t leave any multiple choice questions left unanswered. If you’re not sure, make your best guess by excluding any answer options you know to be incorrect. Use any time left at the end to review each of your answers.

The CBE will automatically end after your time is up. If you finish early and have answered all questions as best as you can, click ‘Exit’ to submit your exam. The required pass rate is 50% and your result will appear on screen.
